Caught in the act!!!Funny story. Last night Samantha and Sabrina were going to decorate a kid's front porch for his birthday today. They made some cute little signs and had some streamers to tape up. It was a little after 9 when Scott drove them over. Of course they were all dressed in black and trying to be really sneaky. The goal was to get in, get er' done and get outta there without being caught!
It started out ok, but then they heard his dog bark, so they hurried and finished and turned around to book it out of there. Unfortunately, Sam missed the step and tripped which in turn also tripped Sabrina. They were so scared of being caught, that they just picked themselves up as fast as they could and took off running for the car.
It was only a few minutes after they got home that Sam said she couldn't find her phone. She called it but didn't hear it anywhere, she went out and checked in the car but still no phone. It was about then that our home phone rang and this is the conversation that followed:
Sam: Hello
TJ ( the boy): Hey Sam, I have your phone
Sam: awkward silence followed by, "Uh, yeah"
TJ: I asked my Dad why the dog was barking and he said he didn't think it was anything but I told him I heard footsteps.
Sam: embarrassed laugh
TJ: So do you need your phone tonight?
Sam: Naw, I'll be fine until tomorrow. Thanks, bye
Scott, Sabrina and I were laughing so hard this whole time that I thought I was going to wet my pants. And then she told us the whole conversation over so we could continue the laughter a little longer.
I guess maybe one of these days I will have to post the pictures of my friend and I at Rick's College, decked out in black, getting ready to go cause trouble at the boys dorms........oh dear.
