Tanner!!!

Tanner is loving 7th grade!!  The kids are all at a new school this year.  It's K-7 this year and will be K-8 next year.  So far it seems to be a good fit for us.

Tanner thought he should get in on the school pic photo shoot, so he headed outside with Sabrina to shoot a few.

Yeah, he's looking pretty good!  It's gonna be a great year as a 7th grader!!

I know, I know...more kid pics.....but I love these and I'm so glad Sabrina took the time to take and edit them!  Someday when I print off this blog and make it into a book, I will be soooo happy she took them!!  So....enjoy!!!

Miss Vanessa!!

Vanessa wanted to get in on the photo shoots, so yesterday Sabrina took some quick pics of her as well! 

I honestly can't believe how beautiful she is, inside and out!  She just turned 9 years old and she has such a tender heart.  Oh sure, she can be a little stinker sometimes but honestly, I think she must have to try really hard because it doesn't come naturally for her.  She is a great older sister and is always willing to help out or play with her younger siblings.  Truly a doll!

Monday, Sabrina will start her Senior year of High School......but until then, she is keeping busy by taking adorable pics of her siblings......see for yourself!

Miss Jasmine Starts School!!

Jasmine has been anxiously awaiting her turn to start school.  Today was the big day!  She went outside before we left to have her picture taken.  And of course, they turned out so cute!

When we got to pre-school, she was all smiles.  She looked around for a minute to survey the room and then she looked at me and said, "Bye Mama!"  That was my cue to get out of there!  Several of the other mother's were still trying to console their kids....I guess when you are #10, you are a little more independent!!  :)

Back To School Time!

Today the first 6 kiddos started school!!  They were all soooo excited!!  We got a couple of pics before we headed out......

 Lined up, ready to go!!  Those boys were trying so hard to be cool...smile, I kept saying!!!

 This one cracks me up....Thomas had had enough and had just yelled, "Can we just go to school now???"  Tanner was totally cracking up at him.  And the girls were just smiling like they were supposed to! 

Savannah at her first day of Kindergarten!!!  Yay, yippee!!  She was soooo excited!!

Isaiah was next....headed to preschool for the first time!  He was super excited and was up early!  He picked out his outfit and had his backpack on, ready to go, two hours early!  When we got to preschool, he unbuckled his seat belt and started opening the door even before we parked!  He yelled, "Goodbye, I love you!!!"  When we got inside, he dropped his backpack and ran for the toys as he yelled, "Bye!!"  Hahaha, glad there wasn't any drama about me leaving!  :) 

He went outside for a photo shoot with Sabrina this morning since he had so much free time!

Jazz starts tomorrow and the older two start next week!  I'm sure there will be more pics of them!!  :)



Happy Birthday Levi!!!

Levi turned 14!!!  We had a fairly quiet day, working around the house and swimming and then we had birthday dinner and dessert!  I had found a recipe that Levi wanted to try.  They looked like cinnamon rolls but with pizza ingredients!  We used the Rhoades frozen dough, let it thaw and then rolled it out.  Then we topped it with pizza sauce and cheese, rolled it up, sliced it like a cinnamon roll and baked them!  Some of them included sausage!  Here is a picture!

After dinner, we brought out dessert.  Since we just had cake a few days ago for Thomas' birthday, we decided to have something different.  We went with something cold and easy.....ice cream sandwiches!!

Levi got lucky since we didn't try to stack up 14 candles on that thing!  We looked at this picture and decided he actually looks like he's 17!  He is just growing so fast!  That would explain why his new school shoes are size 14!!

Levi, we love you so much and are so blessed to have you in our family!!!  We hope you have a wonderful year!  It's your first year of high school!  Yay!!!

Sweet Baby Boy Needs A Family!

Ok, here's another one!!!

Full Hispanic Baby Boy born Today July 20, 2011 is awaiting his forever family!  Baby is currently in the NICU and is doing extremely well. Baby weighed 7lbs 3 oz. and 20 inches long. He is breathing and eating on his own.  He has been diagnosed with a Arachnoid Cyst that should dissolve on it's own but if not the baby may need surgery within a year. The Baby is in New Mexico and is awaiting his forever Family.

Let me know if anyone you know is interested!  Needs to be completely done with homestudy and profile and able to travel to pick him up!

The date is getting closer and closer!!!  They are finishing up finals this week and then they will be be done with school for this semester!  Whew!  Then we will have 3 weeks to finish up wedding preparations!
