We went to the beach yesterday and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! That was a treat for us since it's usually cold and windy when we go. The kids played in the water, jumping waves and body surfing until they were purple from the cold water then they played in the sand for awhile!
Finally when Isaiah was past his limit of being pleasant without a nap, we loaded everyone up, including enough sand to start our own beach back home, and came home.
It was so fun to have Slade and Sierra with us. They are visiting from Idaho and the scenery is a little different here. On our way to the beach, we could hear Slade from the back of the "bus" oooohing and ahhhing over the lush vegetation that we call home. He was ecstatic about the size of the trees and the fact that there was moss on them and all the plants/shrubs, etc that fill the forests. It was so fun to listen to him. We take it for granted. It's just a by-product of all that rain we get during 9 months out of the year.

Good thinking! Sand by the bag is expensive. Now you can restock the back yard w/o paying the big bucks! hee hee
A beautiful day at the coast. I'm hoping for that kind of gorgeous when we get there.
