Could his smile be any bigger???For almost 3 years, the kids have been trying to catch "Goliath" in the pond next to our house. He's a wiley critter and has been very elusive. He knows when to croak and when to lay low. They have had glimpses of him just before he dives under the surface.
At this time every year, they spend hours every day catching tadpoles and releasing them back in the water. It's a wonder any of them make it to maturity at all!!! But this guy, he's been around awhile!
Sabrina was the fierce hunter that snagged him out of the water today! You should have heard the screams and hollerin' going on over there! You would have thought someone had spotted the Loch Ness in our pond instead of this poor frog!!!!
Neighbors came out to see what the commotion was and watched as about 9 or 10 kids squealed with delight of having their picture taken with the "Giant Goliath"!!!
