Two Birthdays For The Price Of One!!!

Saturday Savannah turned 4 and Isaiah turned 3!! So amazing. Just when you think they are going to be little forever, they start to grow up on you!!!

It's so fun to have two birthdays on the same day. Double the celebration!

Birthday kids get to choose the meals for the day. I asked Savannah what she wanted for breakfast. Usually they pick something like pancakes or waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, french toast, German pancakes, cinnamon rolls or even homemade donuts. She decided she wanted cheerios with blueberries and she was pretty sure Isaiah would want rice (since that's what he eats every single morning). Needless to say, that didn't excite any of the older kids. So much for something exciting, they all said. I had to laugh. She picked her favorite thing just like I told her she could!
Birthday Kiddos!!!
Isaiah checking out his new tools!
Savannah with her purple ballerina!
Isaiah on his new bike!
Savannah in her new purple tutu with her new purple baby and purple barbie! Ahhh, life doesn't get any better than that!!
Isaiah ready to work!
And then for some reason, everyone wanted a turn with the safety goggles.....
(Look at that adorable little mutt asleep in his lap)
Vanessa, sporting the gear.....with her nightgown still on and her hair wrapped in a turbie towel!
Cute little Jazz is ready to work!
Taking his task very seriously....actually, I think he was mesmerized by the flames!

Savannah means business! She had those candles out in no time!!
We are so blessed to have these two little sweethearts in our family. Savannah reminds me so much of Sabrina when she was little. She's scrappy and can stand her ground. I guess that comes with being #8 in a large family. She loves her baby dolls (all 9 of them) and as you know, she loves anything purple! She is so polite and always says, "Thank you Mommy", when I do something for her. She loves soup! She loves playing dress up and "kitchen". She loves to snuggle and she loves her blankie.
Isaiah is Mr. Personality. He was such a quiet baby, so content and just loved to be held and snuggled. He still does in fact. But he is not what we would call quiet now....by any means! He is go, go, go all the time! A quiet Isaiah is not something to be ignored. No, rather you should stop what you are doing immediately and go in search of him. He is usually up to something very interesting. Every so often, I will panic and go looking for him. He will be sitting in the living room with a stack of books next to him, reading.
What a great day!
Happy Birthday Savannah!! Happy Birthday Isaiah!!!
