Adorable!

I just love taking pictures of sweet Olivia!  We took these the other day just after we got her dressed for the day!

I just love headbands on her!  She has the perfect head for them!

We have enjoyed our Fall break!  It's been fun having everyone home!  It certainly has been a bit more noisy than what we're (Olivia and I) used to during the day!  But it's been great to have so many willing hands and arms to hold and cuddle Olivia while I was braiding hair or doing laundry!

 

Monday everyone goes back to school!  Our next break won't be until Thanksgiving.....which is right around the corner!!

I caught this picture the other day, of Olivia smiling!!!!  It's so tricky to catch a smile because I just use my phone camera and it seems like it has a loooong delay....but we captured one!  Such a sweet picture of her.

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

Boy's Night Out!!

Last night, Scott took all the boys and Papa to a Portland Trailblazer game against the Utah Jazz!  They were actually playing here in Idaho!!  They had great seats and had a great time!!!  I'm not sure if Isaiah actually watched any of the game.  He came home telling me all about the mascot's and the funny things they did all night!  Haha, love that kid!

The older boys enjoyed it and Thomas even caught a t-shirt that was thrown to the crowd!!

Isaiah gave the mascot 'knuckles' but wouldn't get close enough for a picture!  Mascot's are still a little scary to him.  But he thinks they are hilarious to watch!  :)

 

And of course when you're 16, you are way too old to pose for a picture with the mascot, so no picture of Levi either. 

 

 

All in all, they had a great time!!

Hair.....Part 2!!!

I finally finished Vanessa's hair!!!  It seemed to take forever, but it's done and I love the end result.....and so does she so that makes it all worth it!!!  Take a look at these pics!!

She liked it but said there was no way she wanted hair that long!!

We put a few strands of copper in it just to give it some pizazz!!!  She loves it!!

 

 

 

 

I wasn't sure if we were ever going to finish and then my hands started to cramp and I was sooooo done but it's all good now and she absolutely loves her new hair.  I'm so thankful that I am able to do this for her.  Living where we do, there are not a lot of options to have her hair done professionally and so this is the next best thing!!

Baby Shower!!

Friday night was so fun!  We had a baby shower for Miss Olivia!  Or as Isaiah calls it, a "baby bath!!"  Haha, he kept asking when she was going to get her her bath!  So confusing for a 6 year old!!  :) 

We were so surprised when a couple of ladies from our congregation told us that they wanted to host a shower/welcome party for Olivia!  The amount of love and support we have felt from everyone at church has been so wonderful.

The really fun part was, they invited the men!  Haha, I don't think any of the men that showed up had ever been to a baby shower!!  But with the promise of food, they were more than willing to show up for a little while!

The young women from church offered to baby sit so that the moms and dads could come, visit, eat and meet sweet Olivia.  It worked out perfect!!  What a great evening!

I wasn't sure how Olivia would do with everyone holding her but she slept through most of it!  She was a little trooper!  Of course when we got home that night, she went straight to the bath to 'wash off the day' (I think of you, Cathie when you told me that while we were in NY)  :)  She smelled like perfume and cologne from everyone that held her!  It was too much for me and I can only imagine that it was a sensory overload for her as well!

Our friend's thought they were pretty funny putting Olivia's gift in this cute bag.  Just because we have a few cows in our pasture, they think we're obsessed with them!  Haha, we're soooo not!

This sweet lady sang Olivia to sleep!  She was a little fussy when she was holding her and so she quietly sang her a song and she was out!  So sweet.

Aaaaannnddd, the Men!  Haha, they were gathered in a little circle, eating and telling stories!  I'm sure they felt out of place at a baby shower, but they were good sports and came along with their wives! 

 

It was a great evening and we feel so blessed to have the love and support of our friends and family!  Everyone was so excited to meet Olivia and she won their hearts immediately!  She has a way of doing that!  :)

Hair!!

We have been busy over here!!  It was a 'hair' weekend!! 

Sabrina did Talisha's hair this time around!  And can I just say how nice it was to have someone else doing hair besides just me!  We used a new type of hair this time and we love the way it's turning out!!!  Here are a couple of pictures of Talisha!!

I am still working on Vanessa's hair!  It's going to take me a month of Sundays to finish!  She has soooo much hair!!!  I started Jazzy's hair this morning.  So cute!  She always complains that she is the only girl at school with short hair.....not for long!  Her hair should end up about like Talisha's when we we're done!  More pics soon....hopefully.  If my hands hold out!!  I don't know how people do this for a living??  After two days, my hands are so done!  Haha....the price we pay for new hair styles!

Something New!!

We are so proud of Thomas!!  He has ventured out into a new world that we know nothing about!!!!  He started playing lacrosse!!!!  He LOVES it!!!  He goes to practice twice a week and has a game every week as well!

I am not going to pretend I understand how the game is played because I honestly couldn't tell you, but it is fascinating to watch!!  :)

I will have to try and get some 'action' shots next time!  He is such a fast runner and he has really picked up the game much faster than I ever could!  He is on the same team as several friends from school, so that makes it even more fun to play!
