This was a conversation I had the other day with a certain 13 1/2 year old:
"Hey Big Mama, have you seen my black socks?"
"Excuse me? What did you just call me?"
"Big Mama!"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure you are not going to call me that again!"
"Awww, why not? I think it sounds so cool! I'm going to call my wife that even if she's some little tiny thing!"
"I'm pretty sure she is not going to want you to call her that! Just saying."
"No, I don't mean it mean, it's just like a cool thing to say. 'Hey Big Mama, waz' up?'"
Sigh.....there are some things I will never understand.
